Andy Green, Director of Coaching

Andy has been a part of NorCo Rush since 2017 as the head coach of our U15 Boys team.  He comes to NorCo Rush from the United Kingdom where he was the Dean of Students at Meadowhead School Academy Trust high school for seven years. Andy came to the United States in 2016 to continue his teaching career at Frontier Academy Elementary. NorCo Rush is fortunate that he has chosen to pursue a full time career in soccer, as it best represents his authentic self and his love for the game.

Andy brings a driving enthusiasm, positive leadership, and professionalism to NorCo Rush with an immense educational and experiential background in youth coaching, youth education, and administration. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Director of Coaching position.

    Andy is passionate about soccer in every aspect. He and his wife, Heather, and their one year old daughter, love living in and being a part of the Greeley community. 

Stefan Lukic, Technical Trainer

 Lukic comes to NorCo Rush from Suljam, Serbia where he grew up playing in one of the most competitive soccer clubs in Europe, Partizan Belgrade. 

Lukic moved to the United States to play collegiately for Oklahoma Wesleyan University where he was named All-American on multiple occasions, earned NAIA First-Team All-America honors every year between 2018 and 2021, was the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference MVP four times, and was the 2019 NAIA Men’s Soccer National Player of the Year. In 2020, Lukic led OKWU to the NAIA championship game.

Lukic founded Maestro Soccer Academy, a private coaching club for all ages, in both Oklahoma and Florida. He also served as the Technical Director and coach for the Northeast Oklahoma Soccer Club.

Currently, Lukic plays professionally for Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC and has a strong passion for coaching youth soccer. 

Lukic is dedicated to sharing his love and knowledge of soccer with young people, and inspiring them to be the best version of themselves, as well as getting involved with, and giving back to, the community. 

Having been coached by some of the best coaches in the game, Lukic knows what it takes to get better, to reach the next level, and to constantly strive for excellence. Lukic says, “The greatest satisfaction for me is to see young players improve and fall in love with the most beautiful game in the world!”

Lynda McManus has been affiliated with what began as the Bootleggers Soccer Club to what is now NorCo Rush since 1997.  Lynda has a well-established and deeply rooted passion for youth, soccer, and, specifically, this club. For nearly 20 years, Lynda has worn many hats; she has been a competitive coach, team manager, club and high school referee, referee assignor, and has worked as the club’s Director of Operations since 2003.

As Director of Operations, Lynda manages everything that gets players on the field and ready to play. From registration, bookkeeping, marketing and more, Lynda’s primary goal is helping all of our members grow and thrive both as players and people.

When it comes to developing our youth, Lynda is passionate about teamwork, leadership, and doing what is best for kids. Lynda is a cornerstone of  NorCo Rush and, “Feels fortuante to be surrounded by people who share the same values and motivations that I do.”

Pablo Capps, Goalkeeper Coach

Northern Colorado Rush Soccer Club (NorCo Rush) is pleased to announce that Pablo Capps is joining our staff as the new Goalkeeper Coach. Coach Capps will begin in this role on September 26, 2022.

Andy Green, Director of Coaching, commented, “I am happy to bring Pablo into our Northern Colorado Rush family. Pablo is a highly experienced coach with his coaching career stretching back to the early 2000s. Pablo has attained his National D License and has worked in the Jeffco school system for many years. Having worked in the school system, Pablo knows what it takes to impart goalkeeping knowledge on to our players. I am excited for him to get going and to see our goalkeepers go from strength to strength.”

Coach Capp’s is the former keeper coach at Jefferson Academy Secondary and at Westminster Soccer Club.  He approached NorCo Rush about how he could contribute to the program.  His passion and experience with goalkeeping made him an ideal candidate.

“I love the game of soccer! I love to play soccer, but I love teaching the game of soccer even more. One of my favorite experiences in life has been seeing how sharing my knowledge of and passion for the game can have a positive impact on an individual’s development, both as a player and as a person.” said Coach Capps.
