We Need Buddies for our Thunder Players!
We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to become Buddies in our program! Open to boys and girls ages 8 and older. Buddies collaborate with our players, following trainers' directions, helping them stay focused, and providing guidance. I have been coaching for Rush since 2022, as the head coach of the 2014 girls team and assistant coach for the 2014 boys team. I played soccer my whole life and became a coach because I wanted to help the next generation of players fall in love with the sport that had a huge impact on me. I am currently finishing my undergrad degree at the University of Northern Colorado studying to be a Speech Therapist. I am also an adaptive swim instructor for an aquatic therapy company based in northern Colorado, where I have worked with kiddos ages 3-21 with special needs and/or disabilities. Along with this I am a registered behavioral technician and used to practice ABA therapy. I have an extensive amount of experience teaching kiddos with different physical, emotional and mental abilities.
