Welcome to the 17th Annual "Whole-Brain Consulting" Fore Sam's Kids Soccer Scholarship Golf Tournament at Pelican Lakes Golf Club, benefiting youth soccer players since 1978.

Proceeds fund two college scholarships for high school soccer players pursuing higher education at the institution of their choice.

Sam Chuenchit, with 30 years of coaching experience at various schools, passed away in January 2008. Since then, the tournament has supported 28 scholars, providing over $29,000 in scholarships, thanks to your generous support!

Our Purpose Continues to Grow:

• To date, 32 outstanding players have each received $1,500 to pursue their academic goals
• In 22-23, this tournament funded over 30 financially-limited players competitive soccer memberships
• In 45 years, no child has ever been turned away due to financial concerns
• Our alumni includes:
• Colorado Rapids first home-grown player, Kortne Ford
• NWSL Boston Breakers star, Taryn Hemmings
• Iceland's IBV Knattspyrna, Caeley Lordemann
• Numerous collegiate athletes can be found spanning the entire country, from one coast to another.
• Northern Colorado Rush consistently fosters and supports our players both on and off the field, resulting in the achievement of four Boettcher Scholars winners.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

The Sumret "Sam" Chuenchit Scholarship Fund, established in 2008 to remember the late soccer coach, Sam Chuenchit. Sam’s scholarship benefits two high school soccer players furthering their education at the college/university of their choice.

We celebrate Sam's enduring soccer legacy annually. He coached for nearly 30 years in Greeley at various schools, including Bootleggers, Greeley Central, Greeley West, and Northridge. Sam's unwavering love for soccer shone through, as he welcomed children of all ages, schools, genders, and abilities to play the sport he cherished.

Scholarship Amount: $1,500

Renewable: No.
Designated for: Generally one female and one male graduating senior from Greeley Central, Greeley West or Northridge High Schools.
College Enrollment: Any accredited two- or four-year college or university.
Other Criteria: Must have played one or more season(s) of high school soccer for Greeley West High School, Greeley Central High School, and/or Northridge High School, display community involvement and commitment to academics.
