Welcome to the 16th Annual "Whole-Brain Consulting" Fore Sam's Kids Soccer Scholarship Golf Tournament at Pelican Lakes Golf Club, benefiting youth soccer players since 1978.
Proceeds fund two college scholarships for high school soccer players pursuing higher education at the institution of their choice.
Sam Chuenchit, with 30 years of coaching experience at various schools, passed away in January 2008. Since then, the tournament has supported 28 scholars, providing over $29,000 in scholarships, thanks to your generous support!
Our Purpose Continues to Grow:
- To date, 32 outstanding players have each received $1,500 to pursue their academic goals
- In 22-23, this tournament funded over 30 financially-limited players competitive soccer memberships
- In 45 years, no child has ever been turned away due to financial concerns
- Our alumni includes:
- Colorado Rapids first home-grown player, Kortne Ford
- NWSL Boston Breakers star, Taryn Hemmings
- Iceland's IBV Knattspyrna, Caeley Lordemann
- Numerous collegiate athletes can be found spanning the entire country, from one coast to another.
- Northern Colorado Rush consistently fosters and supports our players both on and off the field, resulting in the achievement of four Boettcher Scholars winners.
Online Auction
All NorCo Rush Families are invited to participate in the silent auction portion of the 16th Annual Golf Tournament. Note: you do not have to participate in the golf tournament to bid. This year’s auction will be online. It will open the week of July 1 and close at 4:00 PM July 12. Please look forward to receiving directions on how to register as a bidder. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
The Sumret "Sam" Chuenchit Scholarship Fund, established in 2008 to remember the late soccer coach, Sam Chuenchit. Sam’s scholarship benefits two high school soccer players furthering their education at the college/university of their choice.
We celebrate Sam's enduring soccer legacy annually. He coached for nearly 30 years in Greeley at various schools, including Bootleggers, Greeley Central, Greeley West, and Northridge. Sam's unwavering love for soccer shone through, as he welcomed children of all ages, schools, genders, and abilities to play the sport he cherished.
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Renewable: No.
Designated for: Generally one female and one male graduating senior from Greeley Central, Greeley West or Northridge High Schools.
College Enrollment: Any accredited two- or four-year college or university.
Other Criteria: Must have played one or more season(s) of high school soccer for Greeley West High School, Greeley Central High School, and/or Northridge High School, display community involvement and commitment to academics.
Application opens December of 2023 and closes March, 1st 2023.

College Advisory Program
CAP- The College Advisory Program is an exclusive program within Rush Soccer where you can use incredible resources to help push your college career early. This is for anyone who wants to go to college, not just those who want to play! There will be a Zoom meeting with a D1 College Coach from Drake University to answer questions and give information for what college coaches look for! The dates will be Friday, April 4th, 18th, May 2nd, and 16th. These will be at the Rush Office from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm, and you can come and go as you please with any questions you have!”

CAP University
Cap University is a comprehensive online guide that will walk you through the recruitment process: step-by-step, grade-by-grade, month-by-month, including grade checks each year. These courses are designed to keep you on track during those crucial recruitment years.
As a Rush player you have free access to all Grade-By-Grade courses. Just fill out the form on the CAP University page to receive your discount code, then you're ready to enroll.
Regional Showcase Teams
The Regional Showcase Teams are designed to maximize your exposure to college coaches, these showcases are the #1 way to get in front of college coaches. There is no limit to the number of showcases you attend, the more you attend the more chances you have to be seen.
These teams are designed for any high school age player who aspires to play in college. We pick Showcases that historically have a very high attendance of college coaches. Our CAP Directors work to maximize the attendance of college coaches watching our Regional Showcase Teams. 
Peer Tutoring
We understand that navigating schoolwork out of the classroom can sometimes be challenging, especially if there's no one around to help out. The beauty of Rush Nation is that you have a huge resource network right at your fingertips!
Our Peer Tutoring program aims to create opportunities within the Rush community for older players, alumni, parents, and educators to offer virtual tutoring in various school subjects to support our younger Rush players who need assistance.
