My first soccer experience came after high school when I was asked to play on an adult co-ed rec team in Loveland back in 1998(ish). When the team asked who wanted to play goalie, everyone stepped backwards leaving me “holding the gloves” so to speak. I have been playing ever since, mostly as a goal keeper. Over the years, I have helped coach multiple Bootlegger/Rush/Rec teams. My daughter Lexie started playing soccer in Windsor & Greeley Rec programs before moving to Bootleggers, where she has played for the past 6 years. She attends University High School and plays for Frontier High School girls soccer team. In addition to my full-time career in IT, I spent 8 years as a firefighter/EMT with Front Range Fire Rescue, serve as the current vice-president on board of directors for the Wranglers, Inc (a volunteer organization that supports the Greeley Stampede) and own a local ice cream business, M&M Creamery. I joined the Northern Colorado Rush board as the Director of Teams in 2018 and am excited about the changes and progress we have been making as a club, bringing more value and opportunities to our youth.
